There was this one spot along the evening walk today. Everything about it was simply beautiful and so peaceful. Just enough humidity in the air to hold the scents of wild roses and honeysuckle in the warm breeze. Evening light dancing through the trees and on the surface of the southbound water. Taking it all in, I felt as if I has stepped into a different time.

Beyond this spot in either direction are more rocks and dams. The river, like life, is more turbulent, rushing and fierce. But this one spot, in this one moment, there is the opportunity to stop and appreciate a little solitude and peace.
I just wanted to share this with you, in case you aren’t able to walk near the water today or haven’t had the opportunity to immerse yourself in a forest of late spring green. In case you might also appreciate just a moment along the river.
Enjoy the little breaks, the little glimpses of grace, my friends. Remember to breathe, be safe, and look out for one another out there!
Much love. Kel.
